Town in Banks Raid? - Ipswich Town News
Town are set to look to Bolton keeper Steve Banks according to reports. Currently the 30-year-old keeper is on trial at Coventry but Midlands sources say Town are looking to beat the Sky Blues for his signature.
The story claims that Town may try to sign the former Blackpool man permanently, however, a loan spell as cover for Keith Branagan looks a more likely proposition.
Banks joined Bolton from the Seasiders back in 1999. Latterly he has been out of favour and last year spent a loan spell at Rochdale.
