U23s in Action at QPR - Ipswich Town News
No senior players are in the U23s side taking on QPR at their Harlington training ground this afternoon (KO 1pm).
The only starters with first team experience are Bailey Clements (pictured), Tommy Hughes, Tyreece Simpson and Ben Folami, who is back after missing the last couple of U23s games as he was away with Australia’s U23s.
Neither of the trialists who featured in the last two U23s games, Joy Mukena and Levi Andoh, are involved.
The young Blues will be looking for their third win in three games after starting their campaign with six successive defeats.
The side coached by Gerard Nash and Chris Hogg remain bottom of the Professional Development League, which they topped last season, but a win today would lift them from the foot of the table.
U23s: Przybek, O'Reilly, Fehrenbach, Ndaba, Clements, Foudil, McGavin, Hughes, K Brown, Simpson, Folami. Subs: Alley, Scott, Gibbs, Henderson, Oppong.
