Reading Defender on Trial - Ipswich Town News

Reading centre-half Gabriel Osho is on trial with the Blues and is in the U23s side facing Coventry at Portman Road this evening (KO 7pm).

Osho joined the Royals as eight-year-old and made his debut for the first team aged 20 in a Championship game against Middlesbrough at the Madejski Stadium in December 2018.

The 21-year-old has made one more sub appearance in the Championship as well as a Carabao Cup start for the Royals, in addition to loan spells with Maidenhead, Aldershot and, for the second half of last season, Bristol Rovers, although without making a first-team appearance for the Pirates.

Osho, who has skippered the Royals' U23s, is contracted until the summer of 2020.

Tonight’s U23s match is being broadcast live on the club's Facebook page.

U23s: Przybek, Fehrenbach, Clements (c), McGavin, Osho, Ndaba, Foudil, El Mizouni, Simpson, Folami, Hughes. Subs: Henderson, Gibbs, Scott, K Brown.
