Holland to Villa? - Ipswich Town News
Aston Villa manager Graham Taylor has admitted that he has made an enquiry regarding Town skipper Matt Holland. Villa were originally linked with Holland back in May, even before his World Cup exploits.
Former England manager Taylor said: "We have made an enquiry, but that's as far as it has gone."
The Blues are keen to bring in cash and would almost certainly accept an offer above the £5 million mark for their skipper.
However, with Holland thought to be keen to remain living in East Anglia, the Ireland midfielder may not fancy a move to the Midlands, however tempting Premiership football may be.
Reports in the Midlands have also linked West Brom with Town's captain, although it seems very unlikely that he would choose to switch to a club whic is amongst the favourites to go down.
