Burley on Villa Link - Ipswich Town News

Town boss George Burley has moved quickly to state the position regarding Matt Holland and the reported enquiry from Aston Villa.

The Blues boss told the club site: "It has been well documented that we have to sell to balance the books.

"But we have not received any offers for our players so in that respect, nothing has changed.

"There has been interest during the close season in members of the first-team squad but no official bids have been made."

Graham Taylor earlier admitted that he has made an enquiry regarding Holland.
