Barnett on Villa Link - Ipswich Town News
Matt Holland's agent, Jonathan Barnett, says that as far as he knows there has been no interest in his player from Aston Villa. He did, however, confirm that, as reported by TWTD, Fulham had shown interest in the Town skipper earlier in the summer.
Barnett, who also represents Titus Bramble, Kieron Dyer and Richard Logan, said: "I know nothing of the link with Villa. There has not been any interest in Matt since Fulham.
"Matt is happy at Ipswich, but he would love the chance to play in the Premiership again, but it would have to be for the right club."
Earlier today Aston Villa manager Graham Taylor confirmed that he had made an enquiry regarding Holland while George Burley says that as yet no bid has come in.
A few weeks back Barnett denied that another of his clients, Richard Wright, would be going to Everton, a switch which took place shortly afterwards.
