Downes and Dozzell Named in England U20s Squad - Ipswich Town News

Flynn Downes and Andre Dozzell have been named in the England U20 squad for games against Portugal and Iceland during the international break.

The young Lions are away in Portugal on Thursday 14th November then face Iceland at Wycombe’s Adams Park five days later.

Downes, 20, has previously won four U20s caps, suffering a hip injury in his last outing against the Czech Republic at Peterborough last month, while Dozzell, also 20, has picked up seven.

The duo will meet up with the squad following Saturday’s FA Cup tie against Lincoln at Portman Road.

Town's scheduled League One game at Oxford a week on Saturday has been postponed due to the Blues' international calls.
