Clements and Ndaba Join Hemel Hempstead on Loan - Ipswich Town News

Blues defenders Bailey Clements and Corrie Ndaba have joined Vanarama National League South side Hemel Hempstead Town on a month’s loan.

Clements, 18, made his Town first-team debut, and so far only senior appearance, in the Carabao Cup tie at Luton in August. The left-back or midfielder, an academy product, has been skippering the U23s this season.

Republic of Ireland U21 call-up Ndaba, 19, was due to join Chelmsford on loan a week ago but that switch was blocked by the National League due to financial issues at the Essex club.

The centre-half, who was the U23s’ captain in the second half of last season, is still to make his senior Town debut despite manager Paul Lambert having pencilled him in to make his bow in the final weeks of last season.

The duo could make their Tudors debuts in Saturday’s home match against Braintree Town.

Hemel Hempstead are managed by Blues FA Youth Cup winner Sammy Moore, 32, who made one senior sub appearance for Town having come through the academy.
