Dozzell and Downes Win Caps as England U20s Thrash Portugal - Ipswich Town News
Andre Dozzell and Flynn Downes both started as England’s U20s thrashed Portugal 4-0 away in the U20 Elite League this afternoon.
Stoke’s Tyrese Campbell scored twice and Manchester City’s Ian Carlo Poveda made it 3-0 at half-time before Arsenal’s Emile Smith-Rowe completed the scoring in the second half.
Downes, 20, was winning his fifth U20s cap, while Dozzell, also 20, who was subbed in the 65th minute, was picking up his eighth.
The U20s are in action again on Tuesday when they face Iceland's U21s at Wycombe Wanderers’ Adams Park.
