Town dropped to second in League One following Wycombe’s 2-0 win at Tranmere earlier this afternoon.
The Chairboys are now three points ahead of the Blues but having played two more games than Town.
Wycombe visit Portman Road a week on Tuesday for the second of two back-to-back Blues home games with Blackpool - who are up to fifth following their 2-0 victory over AFC Wimbledon at Bloomfield Road yesterday - in Suffolk on Saturday.
