McGavin Handed Second Start at Lincoln - Ipswich Town News

Brett McGavin is handed his second first-team start in eight days as the Blues take on Lincoln City in an FA Cup first-round replay at Sincil Bank looking to end a run of 15 winless games in the competition.

McGavin looks set to start in the centre of midfield alongside Emyr Huws with Andre Dozzell - who played six minutes for the England U20s last night - probably on the right and Anthony Georgiou on the left.

Tomas Holy is in goal with Janoi Donacien and Myles Kenlock the full-backs and Toto Nsiala and James Wilson, who wears the armband, at centre-back. Will Keane will be the lone striker with Alan Judge just behind him.

On the first-team bench for the first time is young Wales U21s keeper Adam Przybek along with academy scholars Tyreece Simpson and Tommy Hughes. For the Imps, ex-Blues loanee Callum Connolly is among the subs.

Lincoln: Vickers, Toffolo, Shackell, Bolger, Andrade, Chapman, Grant, Eardley, Anderson, Hesketh, Akinde. Subs: Smith, Pett, Payne, Bostwick, Walker, Connolly, Melbourne.

Town: Holy, Donacien, Wilson, Nsiala, Kenlock, Huws, Dozzell, McGavin, Judge, Georgiou, Keane. Subs: Przybek, Rowe, Edwards, El Mizouni, Woolfenden, Hughes, Simpson. Referee: Andy Haines (Tyne & Wear).
