Roberts Returns as U23s Host Bristol City - Ipswich Town News
Jordan Roberts returns from his toe injury as the U23s face Bristol City at Playford Road this afternoon (KO 1.30pm).
Roberts suffered the toe problem in the Leasing.com Trophy victory over Gillingham at the start of October but returned to training earlier this month.
Idris El Mizouni, who picked up an assist for Town’s last-gasp winning goal in the FA Cup at Lincoln on Wednesday, is also among those involved.
The U23s, who are coached by Gerard Nash and Chris Hogg, are currently eighth in the Professional Development League Two South table with the Robins two places and three points ahead of them.
U23s: Przybek, Cotter, Fehrenbach, Ndaba, Clements (c), Dobra, McGavin, El Mizouni, Hughes, Roberts, Simpson. Subs: Bort, Henderson, Scott, Foudil, K Brown.
