Roberts Plays Hour But U23s Defeated - Ipswich Town News
Jordan Roberts played an hour on his return to action but Town’s U23s were beaten 1-0 by Bristol City at Playford Road this afternoon.
Roberts was playing his first game since suffering a toe injury in the Leasing.com Trophy tie against Gillingham at the start of October.
Marcus Day scored the only goal of the game for the visitors three minutes before half-time.
U23s: Przybek, Cotter, Fehrenbach, Ndaba, Clements (c), Dobra, McGavin (Henderson 60), El Mizouni, Hughes, Roberts (K Brown 60), Simpson. Unused: Bort, Scott, Foudil.
