Youth Cup Date at Cardiff Set - Ipswich Town News

Town’s U18s will face Cardiff City in the third round of the FA Youth Cup at the Cardiff City Stadium on Saturday 14th December (KO 3pm) it has been confirmed.

The young Blues defeated Exeter 2-1 in round two earlier this month having thrashed King’s Lynn 6-1 in the first round.

Last season the Town youngsters reached the last 16 stage of the competition where they were beaten 4-1 by Watford.

The Blues have won the FA Youth Cup on three occasions, in 1973, 1975 and 2005.

Meanwhile, the side coached by Adem Atay will play Henley Athletic away in the third round of the Suffolk Senior Cup if they beat Framlingham Town in their second round tie at Badingham Road on Tuesday 3rd December (KO 7.45pm).
