Record Entry for TWTD Beer Me Now Competition - Ipswich Town News

The competition to win a Beer Me Now Christmas Craft Beer Hamper received a bigger response than any TWTD has previously run.

Four hundred and nine TWTDers told us which former Blues striker and radio personality they believe used to pull the pints in The Black Adder with the correct answer, of course, Alan Brazil.

Allan Alderson of Felixstowe was the lucky entrant whose email was selected at random from the correct answers and who will receive the Christmas Craft Beer Hamper. The hamper contains six craft beers from UK breweries and a snack, as well as a Beer Me Now-branded glass and bottle opener.

Beer subscription service Beer Me Now was set up by Colchester-based Town fans Evan and Alex Herbert in 2018 offering monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly subscriptions, along with a range of one-off products such as the Christmas Craft Beer Hamper in the TWTD competition.

Earlier today Evan and Alex announced that they have been acquired by Beer52.com.

We have some exciting news...

December will be our final month as we have been acquired by @Beer52HQ, the beer club who inspired us to start our adventure at Beer Me Now.

Its been an amazing beery journey for us! Attached is a note to say a little more..

Cheers
