Darren a Doubt for Beggen - Ipswich Town News

Darren Ambrose is a doubt for the Blues' ahead of Thursday's UEFA Cup qualifier with Avenir Beggen in Luxembourg City. Ambrose had 11 stitches in his mouth after kicking the ball into his own face with 23 minutes remaining at the Bescot Stadium.

John McGreal was a surprise omission at Walsall after he injured an ankle in training when colliding with Alun Armstrong. He looks likely to be out for between two and four weeks.

Chris Makin missed out on Saturday as was not over the thigh strain picked up in training last week.

Marcus Bent went off with a hamstring problem and Town will have a better idea of the seriousness of it after today.
