Burley on Hermann Bid - Ipswich Town News
Town boss George Burley has commented on the club accepting West Brom's bid for Hermann Hreidarsson. Burley pointed to Town's financial situation as the main reason behind the willingness to accept the offer.
Burly told the club's site: "Hermann is meeting with West Brom boss Gary Megson at 10.30 this morning to discuss a move there.
"Our financial situation has been well documented throughout the summer.
"Relegation from the Premiership has left us in a position where we have to sell and the club has reluctantly accepted an offer from West Brom for Hermann.
