Town's new chief executive Derek Bowden has been talking about his role at Portman Road. Bowden, who previously ran Saatchi and Saatchi in the Middle East, Africa and Europe, is keen to make Town less reliant on TV revenues.
The chief executive launched a new business-to-business directory yesterday, saying of his new job: "An important part of my brief is to develop new revenue streams. Our dreams is to be in the position where we are not dependent on the vagaries of the television market - we need to stand on our own two feet."
