Chambers: Home Improvement Vital - Ipswich Town News

Blues skipper Luke Chambers says that Town will win promotion if they replicate this season’s away form in their remaining home matches.

The Blues are top of a League One table based on away results alone having taken 28 points from 16 games but 16th on home form having picked up 20 from their 12 matches at Portman Road.

Town play 10 of their final 16 League One matches at home with fourth-placed Peterborough the visitors on Saturday.

"Our form at Portman Road will be vital over the rest of the season,” Chambers told the club website.

"We have a lot of games to play at our place but the performances against Accrington and Lincoln were good and we need to build on that.

"We looked far more of a threat in those games. Our record away from home has been good all season, if we can replicate that at Portman Road we will win promotion, simple as that.”
