Burley on Thrashing - Ipswich Town News

Town manager George Burley was unsurprisingly pleased with the way his side passed the ball, created chances and kept going for the entire game against Leicester.

Burley said: "Overall from start to finish I thought it was a great performance. We knew that Leicester are a very good side; they've started with two wins, have experience at the back and are dangerous at set plays. But we really passed it well, created numerous chances, kept playing right to the 90 minutes and got six goals.

"I'm pleased for the crowd, there was almost 28,000 here today, we showed great quality and it was a very exciting game for them to watch."
