Town may be without Mark Venus for their match with injury-hit Millwall at the weekend. The veteran central defender picked up a knock during Sunday's 6-1 crushing of Leicester.
Venus has an injured thigh while Jim Magilton also reported a groin strain after the match.
On the way back to fitness, Chris Makin will be involved in the reserves against Chelsea on Wednesday. John McGreal is a week away from full fitness after injuring his ankle in training prior to the Walsall game.
