No Stewart Fee Agreement - Ipswich Town News
George Burley has refuted suggestions that the Blues had accepted a £900,000 bid for Marcus Stewart from Portsmouth, as reported in this morning's papers.
Burley says he has had no contact from Pompey manager Harry Redknapp. This morning's story claimed that Stewart's £10,000-a-week wages had been the only stumbling block preventing a move.
Redknapp expressed an interest in Stewart last week, but said yesterday that he is currently unable to afford him.
