Holland in Irish Action - Ipswich Town News

Matt Holland played the final three minutes of Ireland's 3-0 win against Finland in Helsinki this evening. Holland had been suffering with a slight ankle injury picked up in Sunday's hammering of Leicester.

The Town skipper replaced Lee Carsley as goals from Robbie Keane, Colin Healy and Graham Barrett won the game for the Irish.

Elsewhere Amir Karic played the full 90 minutes as Slovenia rather surprisingly beat Italy 1-0, the goal coming from Cimirotic in the 31st minute.

Hermann Hreidarsson's Iceland beat Andorra 3-0.
