Batson Denies Marcus Link - Ipswich Town News
West Bromwich Albion's managing director, Brendon Batson, has refuted this morning's reports that his club are after Town striker Marcus Stewart. Earlier Gary Megson's refusal to comment had been taken by one paper to mean that he may be showing interest in Stewart.
Batson said: "We are putting feelers out with a few clubs but there is no interest at all in Marcus Stewart."
The Midlands side were previously interested in Millwall's Richard Sadlier, however, he will be sidelined until after the end of the transfer window.
