Matt Transfer Statement - Ipswich Town News
Town skipper has made another statement on the current state of things regarding his move to Aston Villa. Earlier a previous statement was withdrawn, prompting fears of further developments.
However, according to the player himself on his site, he is staying, although he hints a move may take place at a lter date: "The situation on Thursday evening is that even though I am greatly flattered by Aston Villa's pursuit and bid for me as a player, they as yet have been unable to meet my own personal terms.
