Le Pen Loan Confirmed - Ipswich Town News
Racing Club de Strasbourg have confirmed that the deal to take Ulrich Le Pen back to France is all but complete. The winger was due to undergo a medical today and is likely to sign the one-year loan deal tomorrow.
Le Pen had been invited to train with the Strasbourg reserves while Town and the French side have sorted out the deal.
Earlier reports in France said Town would be paying part of his wages while he is with his new club.
The 28-year-old, who cost £1.9 million from Lorient last November, made just three appearances as sub for the Blues, the last in the 1-0 win against Avenir Beggen in Luxembourg two weeks ago.
