Magilton Charged with Misconduct - Ipswich Town News
Town midfielder Jim Magilton has been charged with misconduct by the FA after the incident prior to the Blues' second penalty. It has been reported that Magilton kicked Paul Warhurst while the Bolton player was attempting to deflect Magilton's attention away from the penalty he was about to take. Warhurst, Claus Jensen, Paul Ritchie, Gudni Bergsson and Michael Johansen have also all been charged by the FA after they had to be restrained by stewards whilst protesting the penalty. Bolton manager Sam Allardyce has also been reported for his post-match comments about the referee. All have fourteen days to respond. Bolton have said that they "will not be rushing into a response."
Team news is that while James Scowcroft looks increasingly unlikely to make the side John McGreal is pushing his claim. The centre-half has been missing since re-injuring his ankle in the Stockport game, but is now training with the squad.
Commentary on Monday's game will be available on the official site.
