Scow Pain Scow Gain - Ipswich Town News

James Scowcroft has undergone acupuncture in order to get himself fit for Monday's Wembley showdown. Scowcroft injured his hamstring in the second leg of the semi-final with Bolton and was thought almost certain to miss out. Now the suggestion is that he is 50/50 to make it to Wembley.

If he does miss out Martijn Reuser will start in his place. Reuser has revealed that Town have agreed a £1.2 million fee for him, but only if they are promoted on Monday. Reuser has been a huge hit since joining from Vitesse Arnhem on loan and has scored three vital goals. John McGreal is definitely in contention for a place after coming through training OK this week while Mark Venus is a slight worry with his ankle injury which will require summer surgery. Richard Naylor will also being going under the knife, in his case as early as Tuesday morning, but is also in the squad. The full Town squad is: R Wright, Branagan, Wilnis, Croft, Clapham, Stockwell, Mowbray, Venus, Brown, Mcgreal, Thetis, !

Holland, Magilton, J Wright, Reuser, Scowcroft, Johnson, Stewart, Naylor and R Logan.

Come on you Blues!!!

Should Town win on Monday the parade will be in Town on Tuesday evening at around 6pm culminating in the usual gathering of players and staff on the Town Hall balcony.
