Wright in England Squad - Ipswich Town News
Richard Wright has been named in England's squad for Euro 2000 and is down to start Saturday's friendly with Malta.
The Town keeper, who has said he will be staying with the Blues in the Premiership, will become Town's first England player since Terry Butcher left for Rangers.
Sadly, Wright's joy was not matched by great mate Kieron Dyer who has been left out of the squad despite an excellent performance in last night's U21 friendly with the Ukraine.
Apologies for the lack of NewsNet in the last couple of days. Technical and alcohol issues were to blame. All the news including a Wembley and beyond report should be here by the end of the day.
