Hermann Staying? - Ipswich Town News
Town defender Hermann Hreidarsson is reported to have said that he will be staying at Town despite reports in the Midlands that a £3.3 million move to West Brom is still on the cards.
The Icelander is quoted as saying: "Nothing has changed for me. It is flattering that Gary Megson thinks so highly of me but I want to stay with Ipswich.
"I still think Ipswich can win promotion to the Premiership and I want to be part of that."
Albion made a renewed attempt to sign the former Wimbledon player towards the end of the week after he had turned down their earlier offer of personal terms.
The transfer window closes at 5pm today.
