Birmingham Make Bent Bid - Ipswich Town News

Birmingham have failed in a last minute bid to take Marcus Bent on loan. Steve Bruce's club, who beat Leeds earlier today, made their attempt to sign the striker too late for the deal to go though before the 5pm deadline.

With Marcus Stewart gone, Bent is all but certain to start up front for Town against Preston on Sunday (KO 2pm).
