Boss Against Windows - Ipswich Town News
Town boss George Burley has reiterated his opposition to transfer windows. Blues' chairman David Sheepshanks has also often spoken of his opposition to the windows, introduced for the first time this season.
Burley told the club site: "I don't think the transfer window is a good idea for anybody and it's certainly going to frustrate the clubs, big and small.
"The big clubs wanting to improve things can't buy and those desperate for money can't generate any income outside specific times so no one benefits.
"The fans lose out too. They look forward to new faces arriving and enjoy the speculation in the media. It all helps create interest in the game. So you lose that side of it as well."
