Dodgy Tickets Warning - Ipswich Town News

Norwich have warned their fans that 245 invalid tickets for Sunday's derby are in circulation. The tickets, all in the Norwich section for Sunday's game, were missing when the Norfolk club received their allocation from Town. Subsequently they went on sale on the black market.

Town reprinted duplicates of the section V1 tickets and so therefore there are two sets of tickets in existence for those seats.

The following V1 tickets are those involved: Row K, seats 9 to 33; Row L, seats 3 to 33; Row M, seats 3 to 38; Row N, seats 3 to 38; Row O, seats 3 to 38; Row P, seats 3 to 37; Row Q, seats 3 to 22; Row W, seats 8, 12, 14-16, 20-24, 27-30; Row X, seats 1, 5-7, 16-18, 24-26, 31, 32.

Norfolk Police Superintendent Carl Heffer says fans with the invalid tickets will not get into to the ground: "Any fans with the above ticket numbers who do not have an official duplicate ticket will be refused entry to Portman Road.

"The game is sold out for Norwich fans. If you do not have a valid ticket, do not travel.

"Any persons who may have purchased a ticket for this match at below face value are asked to contact DC Appleton at Bethel Street CID on 01953 424242."
