Robson Defends Bramble - Ipswich Town News
Newcastle manager Sir Bobby Robson has defended summer ex-Town player Titus Bramble after the young centre-back was criticised for his performance against Leeds on Wednesday. Newcastle sank to second bottom after the 2-0 defeat.
Robson says Bramble will eventually prove to be a fine signing: "He's playing against top players. He isn't playing against Scunthorpe United, he's playing against Leeds United, good players. The kid will do great, don't worry about that."
Newcastle paid Town £4.5 million for Bramble in the summer.
