Prices Cut for Brighton - Ipswich Town News

Town and Brighton have agreed to reduce ticket prices for the Worthington Cup tie between the two clubs next Tuesday.

Brighton chief executive Martin Perry welcomed the decision: "It's the sensible thing to do. Ipswich have a lot of home matches, what with their involvement in the UEFA Cup, and we agreed with their suggestions that we reduce the gate prices to encourage as many people as possible to what promises to be a very exciting cup tie.

"It's a nice bonus for our own fans too, and we hope as many of them as possible will make the trip to cheer on Martin [Hinshelwood] and the team."

Prices for Town season ticket holders are adults £12.50, over-60s £8 and under-16s £2.

Silver Club members' prices are adults £15, over-60s £9 and under-16s £2.

Non-members' prices are adults £16, over-60s £10 & under-16s £2

Tickets go on sale from 8.30am on Wednesday, 18th September and season ticket holders without cup vouchers will have their seats reserved until 5pm on Monday 23rd September. Those with cup vouchers will receive their tickets in the post as per normal.

Remaining seating will go on general sale on Tuesday, 24th September and cash turnstiles will operate on the evening of the match, all tickets at non-members prices.
