Clubs Watching Ambrose - Ipswich Town News
Tabloid reports this morning claim that Arsenal and Newcastle are keeping an eye on Town youngster Darren Ambrose. The midfielder has been one of the stars of Town's season so far and has scored three goals in nine appearances for the Blues.
As with earlier products of the Academy Town will try to hold onto 18-year-old Ambrose for as long as they can.
In addition David Sheepshanks told TWTD last week that a number of recent financial manoeuvres mean that the club will now not need to sell during the winter transfer window.
Even if they were as desperate to sell as they were in the summer, the likes of Ambrose and Darren Bent would be the last ones offered to other clubs.
