Naylor to Have Op - Ipswich Town News
Richard Naylor will have an operation on his troublesome knee on Friday, after which he will consider loan moves to the likes of Colchester.
Last week the striker turned down switches to Hull, Oxford and Layer Road while previously he had decided he was not interested in spells at Peterborough or Oldham.
The striker has failed to make an appearance for the Town first team this season and is very much considered the fifth choice attacker by George Burley.
Naylor, who previously had operations on both knees in the summer of 2000, says that as soon as he is over the surgery he will consider a move: "Once I have had the operation and am back playing I will be able to rethink about going out on loan.
"It would depend then on which clubs still needed someone like me and if it was the right thing for me."
Naylor is likely to be out of action for around five weeks.
