Brown Wants Start - Ipswich Town News
Town defender Wayne Brown says he is hoping to win himself a regular place in the Town starting line-up. Over the years Brown has been largely used as a stop-gap, but feels he deserves a regular start.
Brown was impressive against Preston recently, but was left out of the side which met Norwich two weeks later, an experience he says has been typical of his time here.
However, despite the knock-backs he is determined to win a secure spot at Portman Road: "There are other First Division clubs that I know would take me on loan, but I'm longing to to get my regular place here. This is my main goal."
Brown was offered a contract in the summer, but as yet he says he is not thinking along those lines.
