Bent Suffers Racial Abuse - Ipswich Town News
Marcus Bent has revealed that he and his team mates were subject to racial abuse during today's match against FK Sartid.
He spoke with the BBC straight after the game saying: "It was a hostile crowd. There was a lot of racist abuse, a lot of spitting when you went near the crowd. But the boys dealt with it, I dealt with it and all that really matters is that we came away with a 1-0 win."
UEFA are very likely to look into the incident after similar complaints from Arsenal, Fulham and Liverpool.
