The 29-year-old played left-back last night but is comfortable anywhere across the defence. Centre-half is the area that George Burley is most looking to strengthen with Tony Mowbray and Mark Venus both in the veteran category. The player is likely to cost somewhere in the area of £1 - 2 million.
