Mogga On Wednesday Win - Ipswich Town News
Town caretaker-manager Tony Mowbray said his players were feeling the effects of a lot of games in a short period of time during the 2-1 win against Sheffield Wednesday at Portman Road on Saturday.
The man known as Mogga said: "It was the players' fourth game in ten days, so I wasn't going to ask them to chase, press and close down.
"We set up almost to concede possession, be difficult to break down and hit them on the break. It worked well in the first half, when we scored two goals."
Mowbray says he is keen on the Town job and if he finds he is surplus to requirements under a new regime he will look for managerial jobs elsewhere.
