Caskey Story Renewed - Ipswich Town News
Last summer's rumour that Town are interested in Reading midfielder Darren Caskey has resurfaced in some of yesterday's papers. The story that the ex-Tottenham man was to join the Blues was one of the enduring transfer tales a year ago, but there didn't seem to be any truth then, and there seems little in it now.
The England supporter stabbed in Charleroi on Saturday was apparently a Town fan. Different reports give different versions of his injuries, although it seems he is not too badly hurt.
Reports suggest he was stabbed in the lower back in a clash with both Turkish and German fans.
