Reid the Man? - Ipswich Town News
TWTD understands that former Sunderland manager Peter Reid is a favourite to be the man installed as the new Town manager. Reid has been one of the candidates for the job since George Burley's departure ten days ago.
According to our source Reid has been talking terms with Town and may be named manager by the end of the week.
If Reid does sign on the dotted line the future of Tony Mowbray and other Town coaches could be in doubt as Reid may want to bring in his own men.
At Sunderland his coaches were Adrian Heath and Bobby Saxton and he could be keen to take them with him to Portman Road, although Heath is thought to be interesting former club Stoke City.
