Moore Meets With Chairman - Ipswich Town News
Rotherham manager Ronnie Moore is reported to have met with his chairman Ken Booth on Monday afternoon where it was confirmed that any approach from Town would be turned down.
Moore was keen to speak to Town after a hoaxer claiming to be David Sheepshanks apparently called Rotherham asking if the Blues could talk to him.
During the next week reports said Town did subsequently make an approach to talk to Moore, but this was also turned down.
This week's meeting saw Booth reiterate Rotherham's stance, something that is unlikely to please Moore.
The Liverpool-born boss is known to have a £150,000 buy-out clause in his contract and even if Town are no longer interested then other clubs are sure to come in for him at some stage.
