Nash in Irish Action - Ipswich Town News
Academy defender Gerard Nash has been in action this week for Ireland at the U17 European Championship. Unfortunately all has not gone to plan for the Irish in a tournament which they are hosting.
Nash, 16, was captain of his side in the 3-0 loss to Germany in their initial group match before they went on to lose 1-0 against France.
These defeats eliminated them from the competition and their final game against Slovenia today is academic.
