Donachie Cash Agreed - Ipswich Town News
Town have agreed to pay Sheffield Wednesday £50,000 compensation for the services of new assistant manager Willie Donachie. The ex-Manchester City player has worked as coach at all three of the clubs Joe Royle has managed.
Sheffield Wednesday manager Terry Yorath took Donachie to Hillsborough in November of last year and the Welshman is sad to see him depart: "I'm disappointed, I brought Willie to the club.
"He's worked very hard with the players. He's a good coach, although results would have sometimes said otherwise."
