Town Fans Praised - Ipswich Town News
Police in Smederevo praised Town supporters for their behaviour when they were in Serbia for the UEFA Cup match with FK Sartid last month.
Police Commander Misa Ninic wrote to Suffolk police and told them: "The travelling Ipswich supporters were a credit to Ipswich Town Football Club, their behaviour was very good indeed.
"With no reported problems in either Smederevo or Belgrade, we consider the visit of Ipswich Town Football Club to be a very pleasant experience for all involved."
A shame the behaviour of some of the home fans wasn't up to the standards of the travelling supporters.
