Town youngster Darren Ambrose was again the subject of tabloid speculation this weekend with Aston Villa the latest club said to be interested in him. Previously Newcastle and Arsenal have been linked with the 18-year-old.
Graham Taylor is said to be ready to offer £3.5 million for Ambrose come the winter transfer window.
If the story is true that figure is not likely to be enough to tempt David Sheepshanks into selling the club's brightest prospect. The Blues' chairman has said on a number of occasions that the club is not under any pressure to sell during the January window.
