Stewart Back on Loan? - Ipswich Town News
Reports today continue to suggest that Marcus Stewart could return to Portman Road on a loan move while Marcus Bent recovers from injury.
Stewart has failed to become a first team regular at the Stadium of Light and may have slipped in the pecking order down to fifth under Howard Wilkinson. This is likely to be frustrating the former Town player who hated being left on the sidelines at Portman Road.
Nothing is likely to happen this week however, as key staff are over in Czech Republic for Thursday's game against Slovan Liberec in the UEFA Cup.
