Ward Still Interested - Ipswich Town News
Town loan target Ashely Ward says he would still be interested in a switch to Portman Road but only if it were a permanent transfer. Ward's proposed move to Town from Bradford fell through just over a week ago.
Town manager Joe Royle's hands are tied when it comes to transfers and was considering Ward as a loanee, something the player was not keen on.
But, if the opportunity were there, he would relish the chance to join Town full-time: "If the situation were to change to something more permanent then I would go back to them."
However, with Town's financial situation as it is that looks unlikely at present.
